BLOG INTRODUCTION

The blog “Curious scientist” (http://curiousscientist2.blogspot.com.es/ ) has been created with the purpose of strengthen the main content (including the language) worked with the students of second of primary education in the subject of science. This blog could be used during all the academic year containing the different topics worked in the subject.

This blog has been created in order to be used for both, the teacher and the students, each one with a different purpose. The teacher can upload documents at his/her home and the students could upload things at class with the help and supervision of the CLIL teacher.

First of all, the teacher can use it as a tool to make watch videos, read articles, do some quizzes, to the students at home (flipped classroom). With the flipped classroom the students do something related with the topic they are working in and then in class there is more time for discussion, clarification of question about the topic and activities in team group.

In the other hand, the students can use it, for example, to upload photos and videos of the experiments they do at class. They can take the photos, record the videos, and then edit it with the computer. They can also record their voices explaining the different steps to conduct the experiments and the materials required. This way, the blog can be a summary of the main activities done and they can show it at home.

To sum up, the blog that has been created could be advantageous to reinforce the content of the subjects and can be used for both, the students and the CLIL teachers. It could be the same as a thread connecting the whole subject and its participants.
